🌱 Nordic Herbal Sauna Ceremony Gnesta
TEMP | 123
🌱 In the Nordic countries, the sauna has always been more than a place of purity — it has been a sacred space for birth and death, rest and healing, despair and wisdom. A room between worlds. In my ceremonial practice, we return to the sauna as a place of ritual purification, anchoring, and transformation. Here, body and soul are allowed to meet in heat, steam and the power of plants. Here you get to let go, sweat out the old and welcome the new. I work with the sauna as a sacred portal -- woven by the whispers of herbs, the breathing of steam, and the glow of fire. 🌿 The ceremony may include:
  • Herbal bundles for purification, blessing and healing
  • Ceremonial steam baths with Nordic plants and intentions
  • Ritual actions in the sauna: whispers, singing, stillness, releasing sounds
  • Body rituals with oils, mud, plant water and touch
  • Collection before and after — for anchoring, sharing and integration
Sauna ceremony takes place in small group For retreats, circles, own group, part of a festival or for other events A sauna ceremony is a powerful way to deepen a group experience. It creates a common space where participants get to let go of everyday life, enter the body and land in the rhythm of nature — together. The ceremony is adapted to the intention and theme of the group — whether it is sisterhood, life change, vision, grief or celebration.

About Wildherbarista
Rebecca Tiger is a nature priestess and artist, deeply rooted in Nordic tradition, herbal knowledge and ritual. Her practice is a tapestry of magic, contact with nature, voice, movement and ceremony — in tune with the rhythm of the seasons. She works with forest bathing, sauna rituals, seejd, singing, storytelling and ecopsychology—always present with the earth, the body and the sacred in the present. Whatever the reason, there's a ceremony that can create meaning -- and I'll help you shape it. Life is made up of transitions — some visible, others internal. Ceremonies give us the opportunity to pause, listen, anchor and transform. In my work as a priestess and ceremony leader, I invite to ceremonies that unite body, spirit, nature and magic. Together we create space for meaning, power and connection. Rebecca's work with Norse animism and ceremonial seid is based on contact with the place, beings, elements, and ancestral languages. It is a practice of listening, body, breathing, voice, rod and drum—but also of presence, stillness and wonder. Rebecca's artistic expression is rooted in Nordic animism and ceremonial seejd. Through body, breath, voice, rod and drum, she listens to the myths of the land, the memories of ancestors, and the whispers of the forest — and gives new life to forgotten songs and stories. She transforms myth into guidance, transformation and celebration in our contemporary times. “Under our feet rests a world of myth, memory and magic. In the Nordic world there are whispers from ancient times — from wolves, seers, folk healers and forest voices. Their songs have never quieted, only become quieter” To those who lack the magic in your life — it greets that it misses you with
